The invention relates to the grinding of materials and can be used to grind coal that is fed into the combustion chamber of a boiler.
The aim of the invention is to reduce technical costs during operation.

The mill contains a housing 1 in which grinding elements are placed, consisting of three stationary spring-loaded rolls 2, which run around the slave surface of the millstones 3 of the rotating plate 4. The grinding force is transmitted by means of rods 8, which are connected to the upper frame 9, which is connected to the lower frame 10 by means of springs 11, preferably helical. The rod 8 is removed from the housing 1 and, at the passage point, is sealed by means of a dynamic sealing device consisting of an air shut-off chamber 22 with a locking connecting element. Between the shut-off chamber 22 and the rod 8 provides a bellows 23.
The lower end of the rod 8 is connected to the piston of a double-acting hydraulic cylinder 24. During operation of the mill, the piston is continuously loaded with pressure or mechanically fixed.
The rolls 12 are mounted with the help of hinges 25 on the bottom frame 10. The inclination of the rolls 2 is supported by means of adjustment devices, each of which (Fig. 4) consists of a hinge 26 that is hinged on the holder 12 and 26 devices 27. The upper 9 and lower 10 frames are connected to one another by tightening the frames 9 and 10, which limit the loosening of the springs 11. The screws are in the form of threaded bolts 29 that pass through both frames 9 and 10. In the working position of the mill 30 the threaded pin 29 with its support surface is positioned. on the upper frame 9, while the nut 31 of the threaded pin 29 serving as the lower bearing surface is located at a distance from the lower side of the lower frame 10. Instead of the threaded bolts, cables attached to the frames 9 and 10 may also be used 9 and 10 hooks. Cables and hooks are effective only when unclamping frames 9 and 10 and at the same time limit the weakening of the springs 11.
In the working position of the mill, the rods 8 are loaded for stretching, and the grinding force is established by means of loading the hydraulic cylinder-24-sided action. By varying the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder 24, the grinding force can be changed when stopped or during operation of the mill. If it is necessary to lift the rolls 2 above the working surface of the millstone 3, by reversing control of the double-acting hydraulic cylinder 24, the rods 8 are loaded with pressure and lifted. The hemispherical surface 20 of the head 13 of the rod 8 acts on the mating surface 21 of the upper frame 9 and lifts it. After lifting to a certain height, the movement is transmitted through the threaded fingers 29 of the lower frame 10, and the springs 11 are not completely loosened, thereby being fixed between the frames 9 and 10.
